Anil Kaul June 26 at 7:23am   COMMEMORATIVE RELAY HUNGER STRIKE Dear Sir/ Ma'am,  We have concluded the twelveth day of the relay hunger strike. Even nas I write this 28 veterans are fasting at Jantar Mantar including Maj Gen Jawandha, a former Area Commander of MP,B & O Area from Ludhiana and 85 year old Hav Bhag Singh also of Ludhiana. Our salutes to these never say die veterans.  While Osmanabad in Maharashtra was added to the list of protesting centres, the strength at Jantar Mantar crossed 200 with several general officers present.  UFESM HAS DECIDE TO DEDICATE SUNDAY 28 JUN AS A COMMEMORATIVE DAY IN MEMORY OF ANOTHER GREAT VETERAN Fd Marshal SFHJ Manekshaw, MC, padma vibhushan, ADC on his eighth death anniversary.  Large number of veterans are expected to come and pay homage to this great captain of War who was treated shabbily by the establishment.
