Nirastra dwells into this struggle of the armed forces and explores the consequences of the same on the future of the Indian Armed forces and the country as a whole.

Siachen braveheart Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad, 33, died at Delhi's Army Research and Referral Hospital this morning, four days after he was found buried alive beneath 25 feet of ice for over 6 days in the deadly heights of Siachen. He is survived by his wife, Mahadevi Ashok Bilebal, and a two-year-old daughter. On The Buck Stops Here, Siachen veterans, and family and friends of late Siachen heroes speak of what it takes to survive at such peaks.
